Staying Gray/ Yard signs & Bumper stickers

This little thread was inspired from a thread on the G D board.
We're in the sign biz and believe me I've been tempted to cover the vehicles' end with topics of politics, gun control, money/taxes etc. etc.
We could also easily make large yard signs stating our views.

NO!!! we choose to stay gray and uncommitted from the outside, neutral, and under the radar as best we can.
Good luck folks

+1

I've no bumper stickers or decals on my vehicles. No political or social causes. No brands or gear that I use. Nothing just plain vehicles with a factory badge and that's it.

I hope that when you are no longer leagly alowed to make such signs, that this time of chosen silence will echo inside you.

Under the radar now, under tyranny later.

Heimdahl, the key phrase in my thread is "uncommitted on the outside".

yup - same here.

I got a lone USMC (hoorah) decal on my truck... but THAT'S IT.

NO yardsigns... The neighbors have cluttered the place enough.

I understand what you mean. And I am not one with signs all over my car and yard(dont have a yard and dont like putting things on my car). But not speaking out publicaly doesnt help. Even if you do it subtly to wake up a few 'sheeple' that is better than staying totaly gray and sitting on your hands for the sake of saftey.

Been wondering whether to take my stuff off or not. Most people are clueless and just go 'huh?'

We have a close knit group of families with all the "survival/homesteading attitudes".
Politically we keep our interests very close to home with a friend who is a county commissioner and stay updated about budgets and proposed tax levies.

I really doubt that any bumper sticker, yard sign or billboard really influences the voter.
On a state/national level...Obama/McCain ,thats a different propaganda machine we ignore.

I have signs on my BO island just sying "Warning - trapping in progress, do not pass this point", with a graphic of a stick man having his leg caught in a bear trap.
No-one ever goes to the island anyway, and there are no traps (except me!), but I think it keeps people away if they were to stray onto the island.
Also have a few 12-bore blank firing tripwires, far away enough that it sounds like someone is shooting at you from a distance rather than a blank going off 10 yards way from you. Problem is, the deer keep setting them off. I suppose at least it will get them used to loud noises and not getting hurt, so when I shoot them for real it won't scare them away.
